After Santiago del Teide drive towards Masca. Here starts a small narrow twisted bumpy road. Don’t let it scare you, because you’ll find the nature presenting itself from it’s most beautiful side. On the way you’ll find a few small coffeshops.
Continue on towards Buenavista, where you’ll meet the true locals. Continue once again towards Garachico – a fascinating town, where you’ll find the famous 14th Canary island. The Canary Island only consists of 13 islands but since 13 is a jinxed and un-lucky number, the story is that Garachico is the 14th. From here you can continue to Santiago del Teide or continue towards Icod de los Vinos.
