2006 Tenerife Golf Ladies Open to hosted at newly opend Abama Golf Resort.

The tournament will be played on the Dave Thomas designed golf course, which opened in 2004 and played host to the hugely successful Abama Open de Canarias in 2005.

It’s the fifth time the Ladies Open is held at Tenerife, and:

The Tenerife Ladies Open will be sponsored and promoted by Turismo de Tenerife with a total purse of €242,000. The event will be the third of 19 events on the 2006 Ladies European Tour calendar, following the Women’s World Cup of Golf in South Africa and the ANZ Ladies Masters in Australia.

It’s the perfect venue for at golf tournament as the Abama Golf Resort - with it’s 5 stars - is a diamond among resorts in Spain and of course we at Tenerife are thrilled that the Ladies Open once again will take place in Tenerife.
